Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. These are stored via Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud) and used solely to identify your account and personalise your experience.

We also store the data you explicitly provide: portfolio holdings, watchlist, and alert preferences. This data is stored in our backend database and associated with your user ID.

2. How we use your data

• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To display your personalised portfolio, watchlist, and alerts.
• To send the optional daily market digest email (only if you opt in).
• To process your Pro subscription payment via LemonSqueezy.

3. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Full stop.

4. Third-party services

• Firebase Authentication — account management and token verification.
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. We never see your card details.
• Anthropic Claude API — powers Zar AI. Queries are sent to Anthropic for processing and are subject to their data handling policies.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.

6. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Firebase Authentication uses industry-standard token-based auth (JWTs). We do not store passwords.
